Ancestor Index is an ongoing body of work centered on imagined portraits of Black women, developed through digital and generative processes and extended into print, ceramics, and installation. The series considers ancestry, memory, vulnerability, and the ways the Great Migration impacted Black women in the U.S. during the early to mid 20th century.
