Surface Pattern Design

My surface design work starts with drawing, pattern, and a strong interest in how color and repetition can change the way an object or space feels. I create patterns for textiles, wallcoverings, print, ceramics, and other surfaces, often pulling from historic design, Black material culture, and the visual references I’ve grown up around.
